My pal Ernest Troost has quite a varied resume. He composed the music for the Kevin Bacon movie TREMORS, been nominated for four Emmys, winning one for his score to THE CANTERVILLE GHOST and, most recently, he's been writing and performing his own dark blues tunes for appreciative audiences in the Los Angeles area. His first solo CD, "Are The Boats Are Gonna Rise," rarely leaves the MV jukebox (well, my multi-disc player) and gets my highest recommendation.
