Varied and Sundry

There are a few events on the horizon, so here's a quick recap:

Wednesday 6/6, the Cinerama Dome will host a special Battlestar Galactica event, featuring a panel discussion and some scenes from our upcoming (and now officially final) season. I'll be next door at Amoeba Records looking for new CDs and... ha ha, just kidding, I'll be there with many/most of the other writers. Looking forward to a fun evening!

MY NAME IS BRUCE is being screened at 11:00PM Saturday 6/9 at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, part of their Cinevegas Film Festival. As mentioned before, I'm frankly not sure where we're at, completion-wise, but hey -- Bruce Campbell. Monsters. The project reached a Zen level of completion right there.

Finally, and so totally unrelated it hurts, thanks to the internets I discovered an audience recording of the Elvis Costello/House Of Blues show from 5/2/07 (of course, I wholly frown on such activities and if anyone dares to send me Mp3s of other shows on the tour, I will listen to them with a stern look on my face), which just confirms my opinion that he did the best live version of the song "Riot Act" ever...

I don't know if you remember me and Maggie (Weddle parties, anyone?) but we'll be there. I have a feeling we'll end up standing, but we'll cheer you on.

Does it make you nervous to talk in front of so many fans and other industry people?

Are you by any chance going to make the comic-con in Philly on the 15th?

Hi Emily, sure I remember you and Maggie, glad you're going to make it to the event. And I won't be on stage so no nerves this time!

Jkel, no, I won't be at the Philly show, in fact at the moment the big San Diego show is the only one on my schedule for the year...
