Politics - You've Got To Be Kidding But I Know You're Not Dept.
I don't go political on this blog very often (I could fill pages, believe me!), but sometimes I read/see pieces that simply leave my jaw hanging. This is a recent example:
I LOVE when you talk politics; you should do it more. What's interesting is that liberalism seems more entrenched in your country. Liberals are more apathetic in Canada and our conservatives are real wackos. I remember, in undergrad, one friend saying idiotic things like, "homeless people make up to $20,000 per year from asking for change on the street" and that most are living it up when not on the street. I remember one pot-smoking jackass down the hall in my dorm who proudly had a Confederate flag on his wall; he got the local Conservative Party in trouble by handing out alcohol to under age high schoolers to probably bring 'em around to the party; he's never let the poor cleaning lady in to clean and she had one hell of a mess at the end of the year.
Mark is currently Executive Producer of the horror series HEMLOCK GROVE for Netflix and Gaumont, and Executive Producer of THE FAMILY for the SyFy Channel. He is also consulting producer for TNT's FALLING SKIES season two and Executive Producer/Writer on Stephen King's DARK TOWER TV series.
Previous work: Writer/Co-Executive Producer on the Peabody Award winning television series BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. I've also written and/or produced HEROES, SMALLVILLE, THE STRIP, TIMECOP (the series), CAPRICA, FREAKYLINKS, MARTIAL LAW and HBO's PERVERSIONS OF SCIENCE.
Screenwriter on #1 boxoffice movies TIMECOP and THE MASK. Also Writer of MY NAME IS BRUCE with Bruce Campbell.
I've also scribbled out nearly 125 comic books including THE AMERICAN, ALIENS, PREDATOR, THE PHANTOM, SUPERMAN and SUPERMAN/BATMAN.

All this to say, I feel your pain. :)
